Calling all Descendants of Grant & Maxine Weight

Family, I have created this blog to replace the "Weight Watcher" newsletter in hopes that we will be better about communicating with one another using this forum.  Please feel free to post to the blog any information about you or your family and share things that you think would be of interest to all.

Love to all,
DeAnn

    1. Hello all--this is Galen (I'm hijacking Suzanne's login). I was about to respond to Rachel's request to post some pictures, but I couldn't find a way to do so. DeAnn, am I missing something? Is there something that has to be done from your end to allow photo up-loads from contributors?

Hope everyone is doing well. Have a super week!

    2. Galen, this is what I found out about posting a picture.
Post a picture You can upload photos to your blog(s) by clicking the image icon in the Post Editor's toolbar.

When you click this icon, you'll get a window that allows you to select an image or multiple images from your computer. Click the Choose files button to locate the ones you want. Alternatively, you can add an image you've previously used on your blog, an image from your Picasa Web Albums, or enter the URL of an image that's already online and insert it into your post. You can upload images in JPG, GIF, PNG, TIF or BMP format.

Once the image is in your Post Editor, you can click on the image to format it in your post.

      Limits on photos
When you upload an image through Blogger, it gets stored on Picasa Web Albums, and is therefore subject to the quota limit on your account there. You can sign in there with your Google Account to access all your images. The Picasa Web Albums Help Center has more information about free storage limits and limits on image size. If you have recently upgraded your quota limit, you may have to sign in to your PWA account in order for the new storage quota to be reflected on Blogger.

  4. Hi Everyone! Just wanted to let everyone know that last Thursday night Matt and I had an "Emergency Room Adventure". Matt ended up having his appendix removed. He spent the night and went home the next morning. He is doing well but moving slow. Sunday evening we had all of our family over (except the Sandersons - they were in Idaho) to celebrate Aya's 3rd birthday. (Geoff and Rachel's daughter). Matt just sat and visited with everyone. He said it was very relaxing and healing. School starts for me this week, Thurs. 16th. All of the students come back on Tues. the 21st. I'm ready and excited to begin. Have a great week everyone!

    1. Maureen, thank you for letting us know about Matt. Having just gone through this at the end of June I know just how you feel. Make sure that Matt is up and walking as much as he can, this improves the healing process and gets things moving more quickly too.

We will keep you in our prayers. Love you lots.
